This page takes you inside Shammi's kitchen, where she prepares meals that are not only
delicious but also healthy and nutritious. The art of cooking does not lie in using
rich (i.e. high in saturated fat, sugar, etc) ingredients to make food tasty, but in
ensuring what and how much to use, timely execution of various steps involved, choice of right equipement (e.g. non-stick utensils), and presence
of right conditions (e.g. heat) - the end result of which is a meal that satisfies your
taste buds, heart's health and weight management. First step is to
familiarize yourself with both good and bad foods, and eating habits, and then your
willingness to make a change. Remember: "You are what you eat".
Eating alone is 70% responsible for leading a healthy lifestyle.
